Privacy Notice

Mighty Marine Co., Ltd. ("we") provides the following information on how we handle your personal data, as required by Article 8 of Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act. If there is any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions, the Chinese version prevails.

  1. Purpose: Responding to enquiries, providing quotations, communicating about orders and transactions, arranging shipping, providing after-sales service, and maintaining website security and operations (specified purpose under the Act: contracts, quasi-contracts or other legal relationships; marketing only with your consent).
  2. Data collected: The name, company, job title, phone, email, address and any personal data within enquiry or transaction details that you provide; and connection data (such as IP address and time) logged automatically when you browse this website.
  3. Retention: Enquiry and transaction data is kept for 5 years after the enquiry or transaction ends, then deleted. Website connection logs are kept according to the settings of our web server and delivery service. Where the law provides otherwise, the law applies.
  4. Location: Taiwan, and the regions where the following services process data: emails are stored on a server in Taiwan managed on our behalf; outgoing email is sent through the SMTP2GO delivery service (outside Taiwan); the website is delivered through Cloudflare (outside Taiwan).
  5. Recipients and methods of use: We communicate, store and process personal data, and transfer it where necessary, by email, electronic records and, where needed, paper records. Recipients are our staff; logistics providers, customs brokers and suppliers where needed to complete a transaction (only the data required); service providers processing data on our behalf; and the competent authorities where required by law.
  6. Your rights: You may enquire about and request to review your personal data or obtain a copy of it. You may also request that we supplement or correct it, stop collecting, processing or using it, or delete it. To exercise these rights, please email service@mightymarine.com.tw.
  7. If you choose not to provide data: You may choose not to provide your personal data, but we may then be unable to answer your enquiry, provide a quotation or arrange delivery.
  8. This website: There are no user accounts or online forms, and no advertising or tracking cookies. Connection data logged by our web server and delivery service is used only for security and operations, not for advertising tracking.
